European Mobility Week 2009 in Zurich
Zurich Multimobil 2009 - "In town, without my car!"

Around 100,000 people enjoy the action ’Zurich Multimobil’ in the car-free city. Numerous events and attractions give a comprehensive view of problems and opportunities for mobility.

Already today, the citizens of Zurich are multi-mobile. For nearly three quarters the public transport is the most popular way of locomotion. The bike lies with 8 per cent on the third place behind the car. Two of five households in our city do not have a car - a peak in Switzerland.
