This is the reason why the City Council of Sevilla increases its efforts to ensure that the participation reach higher degrees of improvement. Sevilla’s activities during the European Mobility Week 2009 are:

16 and 17 September 2009, II Symposium on Sustainable Mobility De Sevilla, Pious Schools

During two days experts people will discuss the current model of mobility on the main European cities, specifically on Seville. Moreover there will be roundtables in wich experts will speak, from their experience, about the Urban Sustainability, the Urban Mobility Management, I + D on Hydrogen, electrical or hybrid vechicles.

16 to 22 September,Works to learn to ride a bike ,Parks and Gardens in the City

Bicycling is not just sitting on a bike and pedal. You must know to many situations and adapt to the use you will make with the bicycle. Therefore, we offer a few ateliers to adults and children who wish bicycling. This is a good time to learn it and enjoy pedaling by the biclycle lanes.

16 to 22 September, Bicycle Repair Works

This Works will give to bike users in general, the most basic and fundamental knowledges to maintain and repair their bikes, to use it without problems in the most practical way possible. Setting the sprockets and brakes, repair the punctures, replacement of cables, pedals, saddles and grips, or cleaning and lubrication of components, will be some of the topics we will instruct.

September 19th, Guided Bike Tour around the City, Departure from the Prado de San Sebastian

With this enterprise we want to help to "discover" the wonderful network of bicycle lanes provided by the City Council of Seville, detailing the more interesting points in the way: links, parking, stations, important public centers, monuments, parks and gardens...

September 19th, Visit the facilities of Metro de Sevilla and TUSSAM, Departure from the Prado in San Sebastian

We have organized a guided tour to show you the solar photovoltaic plants, the Natural Gas Station and the Control Center of TUSSAM, as well as the main facilities of MetroDeSevilla.

From September 20th, Bicycle Party IMD, Departure from Principes Park

There will be a Cycling Walk through the main roads of the city.
