How to apply?
The Application Procedure to the European Mobility Week Award is described below. However, the application form for evaluating the European Mobility Week 2011 is downloadable on this page.

Application Procedure

Local authorities representing a town or city wishing to apply for the European Mobility Week Award are invited to:

  1. complete the application form in English (maximum 20 pages), providing details about the local authority, European Mobility Week events and activities, alternative transport modes and implemented permanent measures and nature and contributions from local partners,
  2. e-mail the application form together with a digital copy of the signed charter before 1 November 2011 to André Muno: a.muno@climatealliance.org,
  3. supporting materials - communication aids and tools, press clippings and CD-ROMs and DVDs with videos and images (preferably in high resolution) – can be sent by normal post and should arrive at the address below before 15 November 2011:

Awarding Ceremony And Prize

The awarding ceremony will be organised in Brussels in the presence of the European Commissioner for Environment. The winning local authority will be awarded with a free promotional video (up to 3 minutes clip in English and in the native language) to highlight its achievements as a champion of sustainable urban transport in Europe.
