The Application Procedure to the European Mobility Week Award is described below. However, the application form for evaluating the European Mobility Week 2010 is not yet ready. It will be downloadable on this page as soon as available.
Application Procedure
Local authorities wishing to apply for the European Mobility Week Award are invited to:
- complete the application form in English (maximum 20 pages), providing details about the local authority, European Mobility Week events and activities, alternative transport modes and implemented permanent measures and nature and contributions from local partners,
- e-mail the application form together with a digital copy of the signed charter to Peter Staelens: peter.staelens@eurocities.eu,
- supporting materials - communication aids and tools, press clippings and CD-ROMs and DVDs with videos and images (preferably in high resolution) – can be sent by normal post and should arrive at the address:

Awarding Ceremony And Prize
The awarding ceremony will be organised in Brussels in the presence of the European Commissioner for Environment. The winning local authority will be awarded with a free promotional video (up to 3 minutes clip in English and in the native language) to highlight its achievements as a champion of sustainable urban transport in Europe.
