The cost of a car
In a family budget, the proportion assigned to daily journeys, including all types, is around 10 to 20%. By comparison, the proportion for accommodation is between 26 and 28%.

In the majority of large European towns, a metro, tram or bus ticket costs around 1.5 Euro per unit.
