Sources of air pollution

There are many sources of air pollution. They may arise from natural causes (volcanoes, pollen, etc.) and therefore form part of the cycles of life and matter or stem from human activities.

Transport creates air pollution

Transport produces huge amounts of several pollutants that are particularly harmful to health. They can be found mainly in the air we breathe, in the form of liquid, solids or gases.

The consequences of acid rains

Terrestrial transport contributes to atmospheric pollution whose effects on the environment are mainly local acid rain and the greenhouse effect throughout the whole planet.

The consequences of the greenhouse effect

The greenhouse effect contributes to heating up the atmosphere. The increase in the greenhouse effect is a global consequence of pollution.
