After 78 years, you can again admire the huge fresco "Heaven Polish", a symbol of Polishness in Gdansk in the 1930s, painted on the ceiling in the building of the former Junior High School of Polish Mathematics at ul. Augustyński 1.
The reconstruction of the fresco is related to the 100th anniversary of Poland's regained independence this year. The work of reconstructing this full of symbols referring to the history of Polish painting was commissioned by the Marshal's Office. The effects were decided to be demonstrated on Tuesday, May 8 - the anniversary of the end of World War II. The availability of the "Polish Sky" to the public is scheduled for the Night of Museums - May 19.
Detailed description (original language): Dodatkowy bonus na dzień bez samochodu czyli w sobotę 22 września 2018 roku
to możliwość oglądania „Polskiego Nieba”. 11.30 do 15.30.
