Detailed description (English): The car sharing service DriveNow is available in various European cities and offers a range of high-quality premium vehicles of the BMW and MINI brands to rent, based on the free-floating principle. The vehicles can be hired and returned independent of location within a defined business area. In all its cities, DriveNow also offers electric BMW i3 and thus actively contributes to relieving emissions in inner cities. During the mobility week, DriveNow is on the road at the Streetlife Festival in Munich, informs all interested people about the sustainable mobility option as an alternative to private cars, and makes shared mobility tangible.
Since 2000, the Munich environmental initiative "Green City", has hosted the Streetlife Festival on the occasion of the Europe-wide car-free day. Die Fahrzeuge können innerhalb eines definierten Geschäftsgebietes stationsunabhängig angemietet und wieder abgestellt werden. An allen Standorten stehen den Kunden auch elektrische BMW i3 zur Verfügung. DriveNow trägt so aktiv zur Entlastung von Verkehr und Emissionen in Innenstädten bei. Im Rahmen der Mobilitätswoche informiert DriveNow auf dem Straßenfest in der Severinstraße in Köln alle Interessierten über sein nachhaltiges Mobilitätsangebot in Köln und anderen Städten und macht geteilte Mobilität erlebbar.
Seit dem Jahr 2000 veranstaltet die Münchner Umweltinitiative Green City e.V. anlässlich des europaweiten autofreien Tages das Streetlife Festival.
