Detailed description (English): The first critical mass in Rotterdam will take place on Friday 22 July.
We will gather and group near the Albert Heijn store at Schouwburgplein 85 and start biking at around 19:30 h.
The critical mass will last for 45 minutes, during this time we will bike all the way through the city center towards the Westzeedijk near subway station Leuvehaven and return through the Karel Doormansstraat to the Goudsesingel. From the Goudsesingel onwards we will bike back towards Goudseplein.
We would like to ask everyone to invite as many people as possible (use your own network!) and bring your own bike and decorations with messages that demonstrate our cause, e.g: improving the air quality in the city of Rotterdam, create extra space for bikers to bike, stimulate people to use alternative forms of transport.
We would also like to ask you to bring some glow in the dark safety vests for each biker for visibility during the night. The organisation of the critical mass will arrange for some safety vests as well but we cannot guarantee we will have enough safety vests for everyone.
After the critical mass at around 20:15 h. we will regroup and go to a cafe or restaurant nearby to have a drink, a snack and have a small, cosy after party before going home.
Detailed description (original language): De eerste critical mass in Rotterdam zal plaatsvinden op vrijdag, 22 juli.
We zullen bijeenkomen vlakbij de Albert Heijn op Schouwburgplein 85 en we beginnen met fietsen rond 19.30
De critical mass zal ongeveer 45 minuten duren, gedurende deze tijd zullen we door het stadscentrum fietsen richting de Westzeedijk vlakbij metrostation Leuvehaven en terugkeren langs de Karel Doormansstraat op naar de Goudsesingel. Vanaf de Goudsesingel fietsen wij terug naar het Goudseplein.
We zouden iedereen willen vragen. Nodig zoveel mogelijk mensen uit die je kent en geïnteresseerd zouden zijn (gebruik je eigen netwerk!) en neem je eigen fiets en versieringen mee met teksten of opdrukken die duidelijk laten zien voor welk doel wij strijden, bijv: het verbeteren van de luchtkwaliteit in het centrum van Rotterdam, extra ruimte of meer mobiliteit voor fietsers in Rotterdam of om mensen te stimuleren vaker andere vormen van transport te gebruiken dan de auto.
Wij zouden jullie ook willen vragen om lichtgevende hesjes mee te nemen voor zichtbaarheid tijdens de avond. De organisatie van de critical mass zal zelf ook lichtgevende hesjes aanschaffen. Wij kunnen echter niet garanderen dat we genoeg zullen hebben voor iedereen.
Na de critical mass om omstreeks 20.15 zullen wij hergroeperen en naar een café of restaurant in de buurt gaan om wat te drinken, te eten en een kleine afterparty te houden.

Objectives: After our previous successful biking demonstration, on 1 July in Rotterdam we wish to continue setting up smaller biking demonstrations and persist in influencing politics in Rotterdam to improve the air quality in Rotterdam as well as conditions for bikers to use their bikes in the city centre.
Expected Outcomes: We expect we will raise sufficient attention and gather enough people again to create another strong statement and to be able to continue organising other critical masses in the future.
These critical masses will take place every third Friday of the month.
Only this critical mass will be an exception as it will take place the fourth Friday of the month.
