Detailed description (English): Because of the longer average distances traveled, taxis need to be replaced more frequently (every 3-4 years) than regular passenger cars, which in turn presents an important opportunity for timely introduction of battery-powered, zero emission solutions. A number of pre-conditions need to be in place, however, in order for taxi drivers to choose zero-emission vehicles. We gather policy makers, taxi drivers and car manufacturers to address critical questions relating to charging infrastructure reserved for taxis, upcoming car models suited for taxis and the regulations needed and already being implemented by Oslo municipality in order to phase out conventionally fueled taxis, as well as stimulate the uptake of zero emission fleets. What progress has been achieved over the past year, what needs to be in place for next year, and what are the ambitions?
