Detailed description (English): Within the concept of this year’s theme ‘Clean, shared and intelligent mobility’, SMU has developed special ONLINE crowdsourcing platforms for these cities and provided specific easy-to-use tools in order to engage citizens in mobility issues. Moreover, SMU has helped in the development of activities and games, according to the needs and capacities of each city. Technical expertise is provided regarding road closures, cycling tours, pedestrian activities. Lastly all lectures in terms of urban mobility, sharing economy and smart mobility are supported by the researchers of our research lab.
Throughout the year SMU is also consulting municipalities and stakeholders on the importance of the EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK campaign and its additional value as a promotional activity in the future of the cities.
